Serious side effects of Succimer

Along with its needed effects, succimer may cause some unwanted effects. Although not all of these side effects may occur, if they do occur they may need medical attention.

Succimer may cause your urine, sweat, and feces to have an unpleasant odor.

Dermatologic

Common (1% to 10%): Rash (some requiring discontinuation)

Hematologic

Frequency not reported: Mild to moderate neutropenia, increased platelet count, intermittent eosinophilia[Ref]

Gastrointestinal

Frequency not reported: Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, hemorrhoidal symptoms, loose stools, abdominal cramps, stomach pains[Ref]

Metabolic
